Read this one if you dare to sweetheart
I was walking down the high-street on one of my usual wonders. The sun was keeping me warm and making a certain owl pin shine. I had my headphones in and was listening to cold play when I saw a very pretty girl walking by from across the road. I thought for just a second that she was you. As I've said before this happens all the time; I often see you in the street before realising her hair doesn't fall quite so perfectly of her smile doesn't fill me with joy like yours does. I 've assumed this is because I'm always hoping I'll see you sweetheart and as your always on my mind my brain tries to fill in the gaps too soon.
In this particular case I noticed this girl was too old to be you; she had a few wrinkles just starting to show and she didn't stand quite as tall as the Kath I knew. But I couldn't help but notice she wore a green coat identical to one I'm quite fond of and her eyes had your wisdom and her smile had your kindness. I was confused; although she wasn't your age this girl had your essence and she was still beautiful as I'd always remembered you being.
It was then I saw the boy. He looked to be about six years old and his clothes seemed to suggest it. He was wearing shorts; the kind only a child could get away with and a pair of Etnies, almost identical to mine but much too big for him. His shirt was a lovely sky blue and had a big picture of Spiderman covering the front. His hair was quite stylish for a child, he looked like he took after his mother (and I'd assume father). It was mousy and short and showed of his eyes which were like a pair of emeralds and again very familiar.
The boy saw me and stopped and stared. He looked as is he knew me and after a moment he slowly waved at me. I decided to wave back and he began to smile. I smiled too before hearing a familiar Northern twang say 'come on Peter, we're going to be late' and the boy ran off to follow you.
I love you sweetheart
