Poem: the third place (K)

We've found a place
Where we can rest our heads
A special space
For us to put down our bed
A piece of ground
We can call our own
Where we can stay safe and sound
And call it our home

This piece of earth
Away from the chaos and harm
Where I can show you your worth
And hold you in my arms
A place to show
How much you mean to me
A place to go
To be us, to be free

I made this space
But I made it to share
This magical place
Will always be there
And I'll be there too
I'll be there for you
Here in our home
I'll look after you
