Poem: jumper (K)

When I was feeling low
She sent me a photo
As a way to show
Just how much she cares

She pulled a cute face
wanting to embrace
And my heart began to race
Cause it felt like she was there

Her eyes glowed in the dark
With her green electric spark
And her smile it left a mark
Cause it's her smile my heart adores

And her gold hair flowed down her
Past her soft neck and smooth shoulders
And I felt shivers and got colder
When I saw what she wore

She wore a jumper on her back
A hoodie the deepest black
And I nearly had a heart attack
When I realised she missed me

The jumper was once mine
And she wore it all the time
And I was feeling fine
Cause my sweetheart loves me
