I wrote this poem over the corse of the day, verse by verse as it happened
Tears start to fall Out from the sky When you left The whole town began to cry Each frozen rain drop Seems to land on my face As the sky offers me A shivering embrace
And as the drops trickle down me I try to stand tall But the cold rain surrounds me And continues to fall And the weight of the water Can only drag me down As the tears start to flood This valley of a town
A whole day has past And tears of rain still now pour The sky misses you And we all feel sore the sun feels lonely So it's gone away to hide And the sea roars in anger Against the rising tide
But then in the morning Oh so suddenly You're here once more So you start to hug me then the rain stops the sun starts to shine And the sea slowly calms As it's made clear you're still mine

That's actually sadder than I had anticipated :/ it was chucking it down all the way home for me too
Still, the ending is nice. Cheered me up and reminded me that we'll always be together :3
I love you :*

That's actually a very nice coincidence "You are the sunshine of my life..."
