I first heard this song a while ago, and it just struck me straight away. I'm pretty certain I've mentioned it to you before It's kinda a song about leaving home to pastures new but also to me about being with the one you love, which is just what I wanna do with you



I'm a phoenix in the water

- I've always known that I'm never gonna spend my life in Croydon, it's not where I belong. The only difference is now I know who I belong with and I'm not gonna go out alone

- I'm so excited to be spending my life with you you know sometimes I kinda want to fast forward to that time, but then again most of the time I'm still so happy to just be living in this present, since it's so perfect

- I should like to amend "I'll" to "we'll" here we are so good at calming each other down at bad moments and making everything perfect again. The 'some place real' is that third place, that place where I'm happy and not alone :3

- yes, yes and yes. I think you can guess who and where my home is :3

- though admittedly that is rather nice too :3

- that's something I kinda believe in a lot. Home will be anywhere so long as it's with you, though you know, a nice place would be nice too :3

- well I think we've basically reached that point already really

- to me this means I have no worries about the future since I know it's gonna be heaven, and I'll always have that bit of comfort I need beside me :3

- as it should be

But there's a shining in the shadows

- another change of 'I' to 'we' we're gonna find that perfect place together :3
